Returning to My True Passion While I am incredibly proud of my extensive history and past achievements breeding working Labrador Retrievers (a joint venture I previously shared with my husband, who now focuses on his international training groups), my heart has always called me toward a different path.I wanted to focus solely on breeding exceptional companion dogs meant to be lifelong, adored family members. This deep-seated calling is exactly why I fell in love with the multigenerational Australian Labradoodle.
Today, I choose to remain a dedicated, small-scale home breeder. This allows me to pour my full energy, love, and professional expertise into every single puppy born under my roof

The Facts About My Background: 26 Years of Breeding Excellence My journey with dogs did not start recently. I have spent over 26 years dedicated to preservation dog breeding, gaining a deep knowledge and expertise that sets Avalon Australian Labradoodles apart from standard breeding programs.
Elite Foundations in Canine Excellence Long before breeding Australian Labradoodles (ALDs), I headed a world-class breeding program for Labrador Retrievers. My husband is a top international dog trainer who coaches positive-reward, working competition groups across Europe.
He has won the National Irish Championship and successfully trained and handled numerous Field Trial Champions (FTCHs) and Field Trial Winners (FTWs).Living and working alongside him for decades has given me an invaluable,deep-dive education into canine psychology, advanced training mechanics, and behavioral development. He has brought incredible hands-on experience from the highest level of the training world—deeply understanding the drive, structure, and focus required to build a confident, capable retriever.
Looking Through Two Lenses: Structural Capability & Emotional Stability In my breeding practices, I paired his practical training background with my own extensive knowledge of canine behavior and advanced puppy development. Having this combined knowledge allows me to evaluate my ALD puppies through two distinct lenses:
- Structural Capability: Ensuring perfect conformation, balance, soundness, and physical health.
- Emotional Stability: Shaping their temperaments to be resilient, calm, and highly adaptable.

Our foundational bloodlines went on to produce over 170 Field Trial Champions & FT Winners with several of our dogs claiming prestigious National Championship titles.While being a part of that demanding competitive world taught me everything I know about genetics, canine health, and structural soundness, it also deepened my core philosophy as an animal lover. I learned that regardless of a dog's talent, drive, or titles, their true value ultimately lies in their heart.

Over the years, the puppies I bred and foundationally raised were specifically selected by SIT Service Dogs in Southern Illinois, USA.Those very dogs became the foundation bloodlines and sires for an incredible program run by a wonderful couple, Lexi and Danny Dietz. Their mission to train dogs that help individuals lead fuller, more independent lives.
